YouGetTheDog is a personal planning tool created by Simon Livingston. It is not a will, not a substitute for one, and we do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. For binding instructions, consult a qualified solicitor or attorney in your jurisdiction.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details and vault passphrase safe. We can't recover a lost passphrase or emergency password — they never leave your device.

Refunds

You may request a full refund of any payment within 14 days of the transaction date, for any reason. To request a refund, contact us at privacy@yougetthedog.com. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to access other users' data.
• Don't use the service to store illegal content.
• Don't abuse trustees or beneficiaries through the platform.

Trustees and emergency access

If a trustee's unlock request is approved (by you, or automatically after your configured no-response window), they will have limited, audited access. Every access is logged on your Security page.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in-app or by email.
